The Rip Van Demand Planning Manager will be responsible for supporting the Operations team by managing demand planning process, analyses on costs, production and inventory scenarios, maintaining cost cards, ensuring data sources are maintained and accurate and assisting month-end close.

S/he will work closely with the VP, Operations, Production Planner and Logistics Manager to ensure Rip Van products are produced, deployed and delivered to customers in the highest quality and cost-efficiency possible. The Demand Planning Manager will be a core member of our high-energy, close-knit and fast paced team. S/he will support both our core product portfolio, as well as our exciting innovation agenda.

This role requires a highly analytic mindset, problem solving outlook and excellent communication skills. The Demand Planning Manager must be able to distill issues into questions that can be answered via data analytics and create recurring data sources that help the team identify and head off supply chain challenges. S/he must be able to work with sales teams to accurately incorporate promotional activity, new listings, etc. into demand plans.

What You'll Do:

  • Demand Forecasting: Collaborate with the sales team to develop accurate demand forecasts by product category, sales channel, and SKU level. Analyze historical data, promotional activity, and new product launches to maintain world-class forecast accuracy.
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage our global network of contract manufacturers, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize your analytical skills to identify trends, seasonality, and potential supply chain challenges. Present data clearly and concisely to team members.
  • Operations Support: Assist the Operations team with cost analyses, production and inventory scenarios, and month-end close activities.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of demand planning experience in the FMCG environment.
  • Expertise in Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and presentation.
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
  • Strong data analytics skills and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • A proactive, curious, and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work remotely and manage your time effectively within EST hours (9 AM - 6 PM).
