About this role:
We are hiring an Solution Consultant to fuel the next phase of our growth. You will work directly with individuals who are exploring sophisticated tax strategies.
You will work with prospects who are exploring tax savings strategies. Your role is to help clients understand how Valur’s offerings fit their unique needs. Beyond driving interest, you will serve as an educator - helping clients make sense of complex financial and tax strategies by breaking them down into simple, actionable steps. The ideal candidate combines sharp problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically, ensuring clients feel informed and confident in their decisions. You will be at the front lines of our sales efforts, work in a close-knit team, collaborate directly with leadership, and have a visible impact on the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicate the value of Valur’s products to inbound prospects, translating complex tax and trust concepts into clear, compelling, and educational conversations.
- Manage and nurture relationships with high-net-worth individuals, building trust through consultative, problem-solving discussions.
- Guide people through the trust and planning selection process, ensuring they understand not just the “what” but also the “why” behind each strategy.
- Collaborate closely with the Product and Marketing teams to continuously improve the client experience.

Qualifications:
- 3–4+ years of experience in solutions consulting, pre-sales engineering, financial advisory, or another client-facing role.
- Background in a tech-forward environment - startup or major tech company experience highly preferred.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts in simple, relatable terms. Skilled at asking the right questions to diagnose client needs and tailoring solutions accordingly.
- Comfort working in an early-stage startup environment, with a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed - Accounting, finance or audit background is preferred.
