About Tia
Tia is building a new model for women’s healthcare — one that treats women as whole people, not separate conditions or life stages. By integrating primary care, mental health, gynecology, and wellness across both in-person and virtual settings, Tia is improving outcomes, lowering costs, and creating a better experience for patients and providers alike.
About the Role
We’re hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to redefine whole-person care at our Williamsburg and SoHo clinics.
Our greatest current need is for a provider who can independently evaluate and manage a broad range of gynecologic, reproductive health, and sexual health concerns. This is not a general primary care-focused opening.
Because Tia treats women as whole people, you will also address related preventive, behavioral health, and common outpatient needs within scope, while coordinating with Tia’s broader clinical team when additional care is needed.
Why Tia
- Built-in protected time for documentation, care coordination, and team collaboration, including dedicated weekly management time aligned across markets
- AI-supported documentation to reduce charting burden
- Beautiful, thoughtfully designed clinics in prime locations
- Quarterly bonus + equity — not typical in clinical roles
- Opportunity to build and shape a new model for women’s healthcare
What You’ll Do
- Provide preventive and problem-based primary care, including annual wellness visits, acute concerns, health screenings, and management of common chronic conditions
- Deliver high-quality care through both in-person and virtual visits
- Provide routine gynecologic and reproductive healthcare, including Pap smears, contraception counseling, STI screening, and evaluation of urinary and vaginal symptoms
- Evaluate common concerns such as hypertension, diabetes, anxiety, depression, cough, sore throat, abdominal pain, and basic dermatologic conditions
- Perform IUD insertions and other procedures within your training, licensure, credentialing, and Tia’s clinical scope
- Review test results, develop care plans, communicate next steps, and coordinate follow-up
- Maintain consistent clinical, documentation, and patient experience standards across in-person and virtual care
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, mental health clinicians, and clinic operations
- Provide occasional inbox or clinical team support when you are not scheduled for patient visits
What You’ll Bring
Requirements:
- Active New York NP or PA license
- Current national board certification, such as ANCC, AANP, NCC, or NCCPA
- Active DEA registration, or ability to obtain before starting
- 2+ years of independent outpatient clinical experience
- Significant experience independently managing gynecologic, reproductive health, and sexual health concerns
- Strong judgment regarding which concerns can be safely managed virtually and which require in-person evaluation
- Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
- Commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and patient-centered care
- Comfort working within a collaborative, technology-enabled care model
We are especially interested in candidates with:
- Core experience in gynecology, women’s health, reproductive health, fertility, or sexual health
- Broad experience across both gynecology and primary care, with substantial gynecology-focused responsibility
Preferred Qualifications
- Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner certification or another women’s health-focused background
- Experience managing menopause, contraception, abnormal bleeding, PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids, fertility, pelvic pain, or sexual health concerns
- Experience performing gynecology procedures within APP scope
- Prior telehealth experience
- Experience in an integrated or multidisciplinary care setting
Training and Development
Candidates must join with a strong existing foundation in outpatient gynecology and women’s health.
Additional training may be provided in areas such as virtual care pathways, menopause care, sexual wellness, weight management, medical dermatology, procedural scope, and Tia’s clinical workflows and technology.
