Role
Taptap Send is looking for a systems-minded operator to join our People Operations team as Business Operations Manager — People & Systems. This is a high-ownership role for someone who sees people operations not just as an HR function, but as a scalable system — one that can be built, automated, and continuously improved to support a fast-growing global company.
You’ll be the engine behind how we run People Ops at TTS: designing the processes, building the tooling, and creating the infrastructure that lets our team move faster and smarter. Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end design and automation of People Ops workflows — from probation tracking and payroll processing to comp changes and report generation — with a goal of automating 80–90% of day-to-day operational tasks
Build and maintain a robust people data infrastructure, including self-serve dashboards covering headcount, attrition, hiring pipeline, and compensation, enabling leadership to make workforce decisions with confidence
Lead compensation and role governance — including salary banding, benchmarking, levelling frameworks, and role approvals — ensuring TTS stays competitive and consistent as we scale
Work closely with Finance, Legal, and functional leads across the business; serve as the connective tissue between people data and business planning
Partner with leadership to institutionalise goal-setting and management operations across the whole organisation
Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to manage SaaS renewals, track contract ownership and spend, and drive consolidation of our tech stack
Solve the operational bottlenecks that slow our team down — identify where we’re doing things manually that shouldn’t be, and build the systems to fix it
Shape how TTS thinks about people infrastructure: not just for today’s headcount, but for the company we’re becoming
Own the tools and processes that affect every single person at TTS — your work will be felt across the whole organisation
Define what “great” looks like for People Ops at a high-growth fintech, and build the systems to get there
Be a key contributor to how we scale our operating model over the next 12–24 months as we expand into new markets and grow headcount meaningfully
Requirements
4–6+ years in a high-performing, analytical environment — consulting, biz ops, finance, or a fast-growing startup (HR background not required)
Strong track record of building systems and processes from scratch — you’ve taken operational chaos and made it scalable
Highly analytical; comfortable building dashboards, working with data, and using metrics to drive decisions
AI-native in your approach — you actively use AI tools to work faster, build smarter, and automate what doesn’t need to be manual
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to work across functions and influence others
