Role

We’re hiring a Recruiter to find and attract the very best talent to fuel our growth in South East Asia. This is not just a typical behind-the-desk recruiting role - you’ll be out in the market, meeting candidates face-to-face, building local networks, and acting as our in-region talent ambassador.

You’ll be the bridge between our global team and local talent pools, ensuring we hire people who will thrive at TapTap Send. You’ll own the full recruiting lifecycle end-to-end and be the go-to expert for in-market talent strategy: calibrating with hiring managers, refining processes, and elevating hiring quality across SEA. You’ll also surface insights from the field to help us continuously improve how we hire globally.

This role is based in Singapore and may require occasional travel within SEA.

Responsibilities

  • Source, attract, and close top talent in-market using a mix of tools, headhunting, and local networks

  • Build pipelines through on-the-ground networking: events, meetups, coffee chats, community groups, and partnerships

  • Lead strong role kick-offs: align on requirements, define “what good looks like,” and drive qualified candidates quickly into process

  • Own the full cycle - from first touch to signed offer - while maintaining high speed, quality, and candidate experience

  • Develop tailored sourcing strategies to raise the bar on talent quality across hard-to-fill roles

  • Maintain and report on KPIs: pipeline health, speed, conversions, and candidate grading

  • Deliver a thoughtful, transparent candidate experience end-to-end

  • Be a bar-raiser for interviews, process, and hiring standards in the region

  • Share local market insights and candidate trends with the global recruiting team to refine our hiring strategy worldwide

Requirements

  • Strong experience in proactive sourcing and headhunting (agency or in-house)

  • Exposure to at least one startup/scale-up environment (Series A–D ideal)

  • Track record of hiring and closing top-tier talent

  • Data-driven approach to funnels, KPIs, and conversion metrics

  • High resilience; thrives in environments with shifting priorities

  • Ability to influence stakeholders, defend recommendations, and build trust

  • Comfort with in-person, relationship-driven recruiting
