The Role
We are looking for an Operations Manager (People/HR) to join our team!
As Operations Manager (People/HR) you will join the People Operations team and work closely with the Director of People Operations on a wide variety of HR projects, operations, and processes.
The People Operations team at Taptap Send is responsible for delivering a best-in-class People experience to 220+ Tappers and counting in 30+ countries around the globe. We own all things HR across the employee lifecycle (from offer to offboarding) and put company-wide People policies, systems, and processes in place. As Operations Manager you will play a key role in standardizing, streamlining, and automating – and often building from scratch – scalable, dynamic People Ops processes that keep the pace with Taptap Send’s growth.

What you'll do:

  • Own the delivery of core People Ops cycles, processes, and tasks (wherever you're needed, you'll jump in!)
  • Manage complex and cross-functional People Ops projects
  • Identify gaps in our daily routines and introduce better processes to improve internal ways of working and the employee experience
  • Develop resources and tools that the People Ops team can use to improve their effectiveness + efficiency in supporting Tappers
  • Serve as reference point for teams such as Legal, Finance, Talent, IT, Compliance, tackling ad hoc requests and partnering closely with them on cross-functional projects and process improvement
  • Manage the People tool stack (HRIS, etc) and partner/vendor portfolio to ensure satisfactory service quality and ROI
  • Lead research efforts on topics that are new for the team and important for the company (e.g,. global hiring guidelines, first hire in a new geography, etc.)
  • Define and help the team achieve operational goals and KPIs

What we're looking for:

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in consulting or a fast-paced, high-growth environment in an Operations, Project Management, or People/HR role or similar
  • You’ve had exposure to People/HR topics and are passionate about this space
  • You are a strategic thinker and excel at identifying root causes to complex problems – and then designing practical solutions to solve them
  • You consider yourself a generalist and love hopping from one topic to the next
  • You have proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects
  • You feel equally happy doing strategic and hands-on work, and are not afraid of routine processes or getting your hands dirty
  • You have a track record of successfully managing/influencing key stakeholders
  • You are highly analytical and are great with Excel
  • You are methodical in your work and have exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • You are a team player
  • Ideally, you speak French
