Switch Marketing Directors

Switch is seeking motivated, dynamic self-starters to lead our marketing efforts on select college campuses nationwide. We are interested in those who share our goals—to empower anyone to create incredible experiences by removing the stress, awkwardness, and hassle of collecting and spending money in groups.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and mentor a team of marketing interns, guiding their work and ensuring they stay on track and meet their targets.
Plan, coordinate and manage all tabling activities on campus, ensuring that Switch has a visible and engaging presence at various locations around campus.
Lead the blanketing of strategic locations on campus with flyers and stickers promoting Switch, ensuring that they are distributed effectively and reach a wide audience.
Be the driving force behind various Switch events on campus, including but not limited to group dinners, parties, concerts, and bar tabs. Your creative energy and organizational skills will be crucial in planning and executing these events.
Conduct weekly check-ins with the Switch team. This is your opportunity to provide updates on your progress, discuss challenges, and strategize on future actions.
The role requires a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week. However, there is a degree of flexibility given the incentive-based nature of the role.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a leadership role such as team management or a similar position is required. We're looking for someone who can lead, inspire and manage a team effectively.
You should have strong organizational and planning skills. Managing multiple tasks and coordinating various activities is a key part of the role.
Excellent leadership and motivational skills are a must. Your role will involve guiding and encouraging a team of interns, and your leadership will be key to their success.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. You'll be interacting with a wide range of individuals, from your team of interns to potential users of Switch on campus.
The ability to commit a minimum of 10 hours per week to the role is a requirement.

Compensation Structure:

For every new collector on your campus, you earn $5. This is a great incentive for you to guide your interns effectively and help them reach their goals.
Each time an organization, including fraternities, sororities, and other clubs on your campus complete their first spending challenge, you earn $50.
When tabling, distributing flyers, or placing stickers, you will be paid $15 per hour.
You will have the opportunity to compensate any marketing interns you recruit to assist you. They will earn $15 per hour when tabling or distributing materials on campus and will get a $3 bonus for every collector who registers with their QR code;
On tabling days, there will be group bonuses distributed and divided amongst all those who participated based on certain thresholds met. Example: 100 collectors, $500
All rewards are paid on a bi-weekly basis to all Directors and Interns.
Additional benefits include early access to training opportunities in the program. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience, enhance your skills, and make a visible impact on a rapidly growing platform.
