Overview
Our team is committed to changing the way people read and with our exponential growth, we are looking for a strong QA engineer to help us succeed through testing mobile applications. We love a commitment to quality and risk assessment, maintaining documentation, and curiosity of testing trends and industry standards.
This is a full-time remote role and can be based anywhere globally.
What You’ll Do
- Automation Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks tailored for SDK testing.
- Leverage modern tools and methodologies to optimize test automation processes
SDK Testing:
- Test SDKs across multiple platforms, including mobile (iOS/Android), desktop, and cloud-based environments.
- Validate SDK functionality, compatibility, performance, and security.
Quality Assurance Leadership:
- Define and implement best practices for QA processes in SDK development.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to identify test requirements.
- Review code and provide feedback to ensure testability and quality standards are met.
Framework Optimization:
- Develop modular and reusable components for automation frameworks to support various SDKs.
- Monitor and improve automation efficiency through CI/CD pipeline integration.
Bug Management:
- Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools.
- Work with engineering teams to ensure timely resolution of defects.
Technical Documentation:
- Create and maintain clear and concise technical documentation for automated tests and QA processes.
- Provide test plans, coverage reports, and QA metrics to stakeholders.
An ideal candidate should have

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation.
- Extensive hands-on experience testing SDKs, libraries, or APIs.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices for SDKs.
- Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with SDK tools and platforms (e.g., Xcode, Android Studio, Postman).
- Proficiency in version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with performance testing and monitoring tools is a plus.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
- Familiarity with cloud-based SDKs and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of security and compliance testing standards
