Technical Program Manager

Our Opportunity:

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead cross-functional software development initiatives. This role works as part of the Engineering team and requires strong technical knowledge, a solid program management skillset and the ability to deal with ambiguity. You will be responsible for driving programs through the entire software development lifecycle, from inception through launch and program closeout.

This role will appeal to you if you are a builder who gets satisfaction from solving puzzles, if you like being close to the engineering teams and if you’re looking to have an outsized impact.

You’ll Spend Your Time:

  • Diving deep into several programs simultaneously to understand the business and technical challenges being solved.

  • Building high-resolution program plans that deliver the target outcomes.

  • Driving the execution of the work, tracking progress and implementing corrective actions.

  • Setting and managing stakeholder expectations through metrics and qualitative status reporting.

  • Partnering with Engineering and operational leadership to facilitate technical problem-solving.

  • Oversee the implementation of engineering best practices, coding standards, compliance and quality controls.

  • Resolving conflicts and cross-team dependencies while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • Strong technical skills, including hands-on experience with programming languages, databases, and cloud technologies.

  • ~3 years’ experience in program management in the software development space.

  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

We’d be Lucky if You Have:

  • PMP, PgMP or other professional certifications.

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting.

  • Experience running software development programs/projects as a technical lead

  • Knowledge or experience in modern cyber security operations (SAST, DAST)

We care deeply about the warm, inclusive environment we’ve created and we value diversity – we welcome applications from those typically underrepresented in tech. If you like the sound of this role but are not totally sure whether you’re the right person, do apply anyway!
