Our Opportunity
We’re looking for a driven, customer-obsessed Staff Solutions Engineer to interface between our customers (new and current!) and our product engineering teams, both supporting the adoption of Snyk in new organizations and helping to evolve what Snyk has to offer.
You will help Snyk secure the technical win and collaborate on the business case for the commercial win. Your objective is to help prospects understand how Snyk solutions meet their specific needs in ways that only Snyk can.
Role Location: New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC
You’ll Spend Your Time:
- Develop and communicate the overall business and technology strategy for the organization.
- Align technology initiatives with business objectives and ensure scalability and flexibility.
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level solutions, ensuring they meet business and security requirements related to developer and Copilots
- Provide guidance on the selection and integration of technology solutions.
- Educating customers and partners about the adoption of Application Security and Software Supply Chain Security and the importance of empowering developers to stay secure especially with usage of Copilot.
- To do this, you’ll develop deep product and competitive acumen across our full product suite, Open Source, Code, IaC, Container, and ASPM.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams and security teams to understand their needs and design, implement robust cybersecurity architectures.
- Ensure that security measures are integrated into all aspects of enterprise architecture.
- Interfacing with product, engineering,, and customer success teams to craft solutions that actually solve our customers’ problems
- Shaping and informing decisions on new features based on your experience and feedback from customers and channel partners
- Develop and maintain technology roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business and security roadmaps.
- Identify opportunities for technology innovation and improvement.
- Working closely with channel partners to increase their proficiency in selling and supporting the Snyk solution through their sales process and beyond
- Thought leadership at important industry events and tradeshows
- Build and maintain business and technical champions at our key customers and in the ecosystem
What You’ll Need:
- 8+ years or similar in the enterprise sales engineering, solutions consulting, complex developer roles or enterprise security space
- Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level architectures, including good knowledge of copilot security.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and security frameworks.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
- Expertise in the developer, DevOps, Application Security, and ASPM ecosystems and practices
- Experience working closely with highly technical customers at the Enterprise level
- Familiarity with a wide variety of coding languages and how they work
- Appetite for learning about new technologies and you’re curious about how things work under the hood
- Ability to plan and succeed, setting milestones along the way, over-communicate, create alignment, rally resources and satisfy stakeholders
- A team-oriented mindset, one team culture is a must.
We’d be Lucky if:
- You have worked in early-stage, fast-growth startups… especially in developer tooling including AI Copilot
- Enterprise Architecture background understanding end-end systems
- You love to teach and coaching is a habit
- Have a developer background or any kind of experience with coding
- Have prior experience in a direct or matrixed role with a proven ability to work across broad functional teams
