We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager: Head of Finance Operations and Systems to join our dynamic finance team. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role is critical to scaling our financial infrastructure. You will lead the teams responsible for our core transactional finance functions - Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Invoicing - while also taking ownership of our finance systems suite.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a leader with a growth mindset who is passionate about process improvement, automation, and building high-performing teams in a fast-paced tech environment.

As Head of Finance Operations and Systems, you will...

  • Lead and develop the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Invoicing teams, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Own, manage and develop the end-to-end processes for procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and billing, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Own the finance technology roadmap and day-to-day management of our key finance systems (NetSuite, Pigment, Expensify, Rillion, and our in-house billing system), guaranteeing operational efficiency and robust internal control.
  • Drive process optimization and digital transformation initiatives across the core transactional finance functions, identifying opportunities for automation and scale (with an AI-first mindset) and implementing best-in-class solutions.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for all operational finance functions (e.g., Days Sales Outstanding, invoice accuracy, payment cycle times) to drive performance and provide insights to leadership.
  • Act as a business partner with the Commercial and Customer Success teams to provide financial/billing insights on contract structures, and supporting credit collection processes.
  • Collaborate with the Billing Development team to guide the enhancement of our billing infrastructure, ensuring it aligns with evolving business requirements.
  • Work closely with Tax and Financial Control colleagues to ensure the correct calculation, collection, and remittance of sales and indirect taxes globally.
  • Support working capital initiatives by optimising invoicing cycles, cash collections and payment processes.
  • Strengthen the control environment by owning the risk management framework for operational finance, ensuring compliance, and serving as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
  • Provide strong leadership and mentorship, guiding the professional development of your team members.

We're definitely looking for you, if you...

  • Have 8-12 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with a significant portion in a leadership role overseeing finance operations.
  • Have a relevant accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
  • Have a deep expertise in billing and invoicing processes, ideally within a complex, high-volume environment.
  • Experience working in a SaaS or technology company is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience managing and developing finance systems; direct experience with Netsuite is a strong plus.
  • Have a demonstrated track record of driving process improvements, automation, and system implementations/upgrades.
  • Have strong technical skills, including advanced proficiency with ERP systems, Excel, and BI tools.
  • Are an individual with a growth mindset, who is proactive, adaptable, and keen to challenge the status quo.
  • Have excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.

What we offer...

  • A key role in a high-growth, global technology company.
  • The opportunity to make a significant impact on our financial operations and systems.
  • A collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Competitive salary, bonus, and benefits package.
