Given our incredible growth, we are looking to add an accomplished and highly motivated Agency Growth Activation Lead to expand and accelerate our media agency growth in the EMEA region.
Reporting to the VP EMEA Agency Partnerships, you will drive scalable business growth and product adoption by supporting the relationship with key growth agencies - across leadership, operational, social, and activation teams.
Success in this role means leveraging strong agency partnerships to drive deeper product adoption and greater client breadth across agency partners. Critical enablers are: solution consulting, feature selling, platform on-boarding, and increased Smartly platform maturity.
Ultimately this role will drive significant revenue growth with Smartly positioned as a preferred partner.
As an Agency Growth Activation Lead, you will...
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key agency stakeholders & activation teams
- Develop and execute a comprehensive agency growth strategy to drive platform Smartly awareness and adoption
- Identify and supporting new business opportunities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for agency activation partners, addressing any issues and fostering long-term collaborative relationships
- Conduct product demos and presentations to showcase the value of Smartly platform
- Support the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to closing deals
- Train and develop agency teams on how to effectively use the Smartly platform
- Build and deliver programmes to educate agency teams on Smartly solutions
- Drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships with agencies, measured by increased sales, product adoption, and spend share across agencies
- Support a robust pipeline of opportunities, tracked through successful deal closures
- Driving alignment on the allocation of internal resources for agencies to fuel growth enablement initiatives
- Confidently communicate and present to agency leadership and social activation teams, conveying Smartly's value proposition
- Acquire and maintain a solid understanding of the value proposition of the platform, as well as the existing and future needs of new prospects and existing customers
We're are looking for you, if you have...
- 5+ years of sales and business development experience in ad-tech and/or media agencies
- Profound product-level understanding of the Smartly platform or similar SaaS platforms and how they fuel agency and advertiser growth
- Experience in a solutions consultant, technical account management or activation/implementational roles
- Media experience within the DE/EMEA region is preferred
- Ability to confidently articulate the value of SaaS ecosystems and the Smartly value proposition to agency customers
- Ability to collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams (product, marketing, engineering, customer success, etc.)
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with agency C-Suite and social activation teams
- Understanding of agency services, their business models, and the role they play within media and creative industries.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills in English & German
- Ability to work remotely from Germany (ideally Düsseldorf) or hybrid from our Berlin office (at least 2 days a week)
- Willingness to travel across the EMEA region for meetings, conferences and industry events
