You will take ownership of your own customers from the first week on, perform consultative sales, and function as the crucial link between agency customers, our platform partners and our product development team. You’ll work at the cutting edge of the fast-paced digital advertising industry, which allows you to learn super fast about growing and nurturing your own target market, managing customer relationships with huge advertisers, and scaling the operations of an ambitious growth company.
As the NorAm, Customer Success Agency Lead at Smartly, you will...
- Take full ownership, oversight, and responsibility of growing and managing Agencies as a business vertical in North America
- Play a pivotal role within the NorAm Agency Team to develop strategy and best practices related to Agencies as a vertical
- Identify opportunities proactively for Agency customers to improve their tool adoption
- Work closely with Agency customers to hone their online marketing strategy and quickly resolve customer challenges , including (but not limited to): scaling budgets, reducing manual work, scaling creative, and optimize campaign performanceBuild, manage and develop strong relationships with our Agency customers and our key strategic platform partners (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Snap, Pinterest, Google)
- Develop and maintain excellent knowledge and skills for the Smartly tool and digital advertising in general, so that you’re constantly able to consult and advise customers strategically and tactically
- Collaborate with customers, Smartly commercial teams and product development team to accelerate and maintain the cross-functional feedback loop
- Partner closely with Agency Sales Managers in NorAm to enable strong foundational education of Smartly solutions within agencies, ingraining and standardizing Smartly tools in agency day-to-day workflow
- Constantly step out from your comfort zone to learn super fast in a quickly evolving industry
We're definitely looking for you, if you...
- Have at least 5 years of experience in working in or directly with media agencies
- Have a wide network and insights in our target markets (US, Canada)
- Have an extensive network amongst the ‘Big 6’ agency holding companies and/or large independent agencies
- Have previous experience in paid social, self-serve platforms, auction, or programmatic ad products
- Are comfortable in addressing technical challenges and collaborate with technical teams when needed
- Are a great communicator and negotiator, with a proactive attitude to drive results
- Are skilled in navigating company ecosystems and processes – and are comfortable pivoting or adjusting when in service of solving business challenges
- Are able and willing to travel for meetings, conferences, and industry events
- Have at least a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales or other relevant field

The base pay range for this position is as mentioned below per year, plus annual bonus. We take into consideration an individual’s background, expertise, and experience in determining final salary. In addition to annual salary, Smartly.io’s total rewards provide employees with stock options, medical/dental/vision insurance, retirement savings benefits, parental leave, 5 weeks vacation, unlimited sick days, life insurance and disability benefits. Salary in USD: $110,000 - $140,000
