Smartly.io is looking for a Workplace Experience Manager to be a crucial part of making us a Best Place to Work! In this role you will be responsible for daily office operations in support of our America. This person will be the go-to team member for employee engagement initiatives and events, vendor coordination, office management, facility renovations, and general workplace support. Your work is about ensuring everything runs efficiently in our offices globally with a day to day focus on our 3 US offices (NYC, San Francisco & Chicago) and remote locations throughout the Americas.

As the Workplace Experience Manager at Smartly.io you will...

• Provide a positive and fun in-office experience for employees and guests
• Take ownership of building operations in region with external partners as necessary
• Negotiate contracts, run administrative work and act as an interface to property manager and office vendors
• Coordinate and take part in United Thursday, global all-hands, team activities, external events and other internal events
• Handle daily management of the office: making sure everything runs efficiently including ordering snacks/food/beverages for office and ensuring there is sufficient stock of office supplies and equipment
• Assist in facilitating an overall positive employee experience through ongoing operational support
• Work cross-functionally with regional and global teammates to cohesively represent the Smartly.io brand across offices
• Provide support to the people team in onboarding new hires making them feel welcome and ready to go
• Take a responsible approach to spending and office finances as it relates to lunches/events etc.

We are looking for you if you…

• 5+ years of experience in an workplace operations
• Have strong project management skills with a high level of initiative and sound judgment
• Are a team player motivated to take on and drive projects independently
• Have technical knowledge to be able to handle possible office IT-support
• Are capable of doing basic hardware installations and guide suppliers in installations
• Have experience in real estate development, lease contract negotiations and move management
• Possess strong negotiating skills, a natural enthusiasm for organization and the ability to keep calm when things get hectic
• Have a willingness to sometime work outside of “official” office hours

The base pay range for this position is as mentioned below per year, plus annual bonus. We take into consideration an individual’s background, expertise, and experience in determining final salary.
