As a Senior Fullstack Engineer in team Maverick, you will help us accelerate new ad platforms adoption and unify existing functionalities by developing powerful frameworks and libraries; you will help us bring full level automation to all of the ad platforms. Our team owns a couple of cool things:

• Backend Unification Service – a NodeJS service that unifies functionality and allows us to provide new exciting features (such as automation) to all of the existing and new ad platforms

• Frontend Unification Frameworks - we’ve developed a set of frameworks and libraries to unify user experience across different ad platforms. Each platform has its own unique logic and constraints, while our solutions allow us to harvest the best of it

Maverick currently has a team of 5 engineers, product manager, designer and engineering manager. We are an independent fullstack team, so communicating with other engineers, product managers and designers is essential. We use Typescript, Node, Postgres, SQL, Kubernetes. Our frontend is using the industry standard React with TypeScript.

At the moment Smartly is going through a transformation of introducing more and more platforms for our customers to take advantage of. We, in Maverick, are at the center of this transformation. If you are up for a challenge then our team is the right place for you!

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer in Maverick, you will be:

• A decision maker. You will be affecting how the team grows and the direction it takes both technically and in terms of our processes. Everybody is involved!

• Designing, building and maintaining our microservices, libraries and frontend components.

• Working closely with other teams contributing to Smartly target architecture.

• Contributing to planning of our features making sure that solutions are sound from both customer and technical perspective as well as future proof.

What we're looking for:

• Backend focused fullstack engineer - We expect you to have solid experience developing microservices as well as in building React apps.

• JavaScript/TypeScript - It is something that you are better at than your mother tongue.

• Master of tests. Unit, e2e, integration tests are not just words for you and you have experience with test frameworks such as Jest.

• Communication is key. Maverick is very much in the middle of Smartly. This means that we depend a lot on other teams. Communication and coordination is key.

• You are curious by nature. We have a very dynamic environment and in order to succeed you need to be able to take ownership of your success. We expect you to be autonomous and ask the right questions.

• You are a true engineer. You don't think just in terms of stories. You think in terms of customer value and completing the objective. You are able to plan and execute work items as large as Epics.
