Senior Sales Development Representative
US NY HQ
Marketing
Hybrid
Full-time
At nTop, we are passionate about building next-generation engineering solutions. We enable the most innovative engineering companies in the world to transform how they develop, test, and manufacture better products faster. Our software has been used to engineer mission-critical satellites, deliver stronger and lighter medical devices for patients in need, and allow engineers to create complex, high-performance products never before possible. And our technology enables companies to fully utilize advanced manufacturing methods like 3D Printing.
We're seeking a strategic Senior Sales Development Representative who thinks beyond traditional prospecting. This isn't about sending a thousand emails—it's about sending the right message to the right person at the right time to earn their attention. You'll work across our strategic enterprise business and high-velocity segments, building playbooks that emphasize precision over volume.
You'll partner closely with Account Executives, Product Marketing Management, and even Product teams to break into top accounts through intelligent storytelling, creative channel strategies, and AI-powered personalization. Success is measured by account penetration, engagement quality, and progression through buying committees, not just activity metrics.
This role reports to the Vice President of Marketing and is based in New York (hybrid work schedule).
What You'll Own:
Strategic Account Intelligence & Planning
  • Research and analyze target accounts to understand company dynamics, buying committees, and current business challenges
  • Partner with PMM and Sales to adapt core messaging for specific accounts and buyer personas
  • Develop account-specific stories and angles that resonate with different stakeholders in the buying process
AI-Powered Precision Outreach
  • Use AI tools strategically for personalized content creation (e.g., rapidly transforming news stories into targeted messaging)
  • Create personalized deal rooms and custom experiences for high-value prospects
  • Focus on quality engagement over quantity of touches—every outreach should be deliberate and research-backed
Dual-Segment Playbook Development
  • Strategic Enterprise: Build relationship-driven campaigns that guide prospects through complex buying processes, coordinate multi-touch sequences with AEs, and develop custom value propositions with marketing
  • High-Velocity Business: Execute direct, transactional approaches with clear calls-to-action for prospects showing immediate buying intent
Creative Channel Strategy
  • Design multi-touch campaigns using various mediums (personalized pages, video, LinkedIn, email, etc.) based on audience and message fit
  • Experiment with creative approaches to break through noise (could be anything from custom content to strategic referencing)
  • Build and optimize follow-up cadences that add value at each touchpoint
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with PMM to understand and adapt core value propositions
  • Partner with Sales to leverage account insights and coordinate buying committee engagement
  • Collaborate with Marketing on custom offers and account-specific content
  • Mentor junior team members on strategic approaches and creative problem-solving
You are someone who has:
Strategic Thinking & Execution
  • 2+ years of account-based or enterprise-level sales development experience with a track record of breaking into target accounts
  • Proven ability to identify high-leverage activities and prioritize work that moves the needle
  • Strong research and account intelligence capabilities
AI & Technology Proficiency
  • Experience using AI tools for content personalization and outreach optimization (not just scaling)
  • Comfortable with prompt engineering and adapting AI outputs for specific audiences
  • Quick learner with sales engagement tools and CRM systems
Communication & Collaboration
  • Excellent storytelling abilities with experience adapting messaging for different audiences
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams
Mindset & Approach
  • Creative problem-solver who thinks beyond traditional prospecting methods
  • Coachable and adaptable, able to follow strategic direction while bringing creative ideas
  • Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a desire for professional growth
Benefits:
  • Outstanding PTO and leave policy
  • Healthcare with optional Dental and Vision plans
  • 401k with generous matching
  • STD & LTD
  • Commuter benefits for NY based hires, and many other additional perks
Compensation:
  • $70,000-$75,000 annually, plus variable (based on attainment) + company ISO options

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.
Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way.
