About the Role
We’re looking for a high-performing SDE III – DevOps Engineer who will play a critical role in scaling, automating, and optimizing our infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You’ll be responsible for ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance across systems, while partnering closely with developers, SREs, and product teams to enable fast, secure, and efficient delivery.
This role is for someone who thrives in solving complex challenges at scale, loves automation, and is passionate about building resilient cloud-native systems.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure CI/CD pipelines to support rapid development and deployment.
- Architect and automate cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) using Terraform / CloudFormation.
- Drive infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, and environment standardization across teams.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
- Ensure high system reliability through disaster recovery, failover, and backup strategies.
- Collaborate with Engineering and SRE teams to optimize performance, cost, and security.
- Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and help establish DevOps best practices and culture across the organization.
What We’re Looking For
- 6–9 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong experience with AWS (preferred) or other major cloud platforms.
- Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration at scale.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.
- Deep understanding of Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience in monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.).
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and performance tuning in distributed systems.
- Proven ability to own and deliver complex technical projects end-to-end.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kubernetes operators or service mesh (Istio/Linkerd).
- Knowledge of cost optimization strategies in cloud environments.
- Exposure to chaos engineering or resilience testing frameworks.
- Contributions to open-source or active participation in DevOps communities.
