The Role
We are looking for a motivated and entrepreneurial Account Executive to join our growing sales team. The right candidate will be a lateral thinker who is energized by the prospect of joining a scrappy startup with incredible growth potential. In this role, you’ll be selling our software to financing brokers across the country.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Prioritize and cultivate inbound and SDR-sourced leads
- Build your own pipeline across a book of assigned accounts
- Build strong relationships with key decision makers, understanding their pain points and developing tailored pitches
- Manage the full sales cycle from discovery meetings and product demos through to pricing and contracting
- Work with our Account Management team to get brokers onboarded and live with their free trial
- Provide feedback to our marketing team on campaigns and messaging
- Deliver insights to our product team on new potential features based on prospect feedback
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets and other key sales metrics
The Must Haves
- 2+ years of experience working within a debt brokerage
- Experience “selling” within that brokerage, whether that is prospecting new business or pitching lenders on client deals
- Additional direct sales experience at a software company a major plus
- Openness to learn our sales playbook and apply it to drive success
- Confidence to run sales processes with senior-level contacts
- An inquisitive and collaborative approach that will allow you to understand prospect pain points
- A scrappy, can-do attitude and a flexibility to adapt to the constant twists and turns that characterize startup life
- Deep knowledge of CRE financing so you can talk-the-talk with prospects
