About the Role:
As a Growth Consultant specializing in VC Partnerships, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with venture capital firms to drive business growth for our company. You will work closely with our leadership team to develop strategies and execute initiatives that increase our visibility in the venture capital ecosystem and drive inbound investment opportunities. You will also provide strategic guidance and support to portfolio companies, helping them to scale and achieve their growth targets.
What you will do:
- Build and maintain relationships with venture capital firms and investors to increase our visibility in the ecosystem and drive inbound investment opportunities.
- Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities, and work with portfolio companies to develop strategies for growth and scale.
- Collaborate with our leadership team to develop and execute initiatives that support our growth and fundraising objectives.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to portfolio companies, helping them to navigate complex business challenges and achieve their growth targets.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies that may impact our business and portfolio companies.
- Work with our marketing and communications teams to develop messaging and content that resonates with venture capital firms and investors.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to stay up-to-date on industry trends and build relationships with key players.
We are looking for:
Must haves
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in venture capital, business development, or a related field.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with venture capital firms and investors.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify market trends and develop data-driven growth strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience working with startups and/or high-growth companies preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
