We are looking for a Marketing Engagement specialist to own and scale Marketing’s internal engagement ecosystem. This role drives end-to-end program execution across key channels and experiences—including the OneMarketing Hub as a single source of truth, learning and development offerings, early-career and internship programming, culture and community initiatives, and leadership-ready forums that connect and align the organization.
The ideal candidate brings strong program management and communication skills, a passion for culture-building and learning, and the ability to translate business priorities into engaging content and experiences. They must be able to operate independently across multiple workstreams while partnering effectively with leaders and stakeholders across Marketing and the broader enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Resource Hubs
- Own and evolve the OneMarketing Hub as the single source of truth, ensuring content, navigation, and featured resources remain accurate, current, and easy to access.
- Partner with stakeholders to manage updates and requests, prioritizing homepage features and structural changes while maintaining URL stability and governance standards.
- Drive continuous improvement through usage analysis, feedback loops, and quarterly content audits with page owners to increase adoption and relevance.
Summer Internship program
- Own end-to-end execution of the Marketing Internship Program in partnership with the Campus team, HR/agency teams, and hiring managers, supporting recruiting, onboarding, and operational readiness.
- Deliver a cohesive intern experience by leading marketing onboarding, maintaining the Internship Portal and calendar, and coordinating program activities and leadership engagement.
- Enable intern and manager success through clear guidance, oversight of intern projects and capstones, and ongoing program improvement.
Training & Development
- Lead the Training & Development strategy for Marketing, identifying priority capability areas and ensuring relevant learning opportunities are accessible across the organization.
- Partner with industry organizations and internal teams to curate and promote conferences, training programs, and professional development resources aligned to business needs.
- Maintain marketing career and learning resources, partnering with HR and enterprise learning teams to align role development with company-wide platforms and programs.
- Own the strategy and end-to-end delivery of informational training sessions, including topic planning aligned to business priorities, speaker coordination, logistics, and facilitation to ensure consistent attendee experience.
Culture & Community
- Design and deliver culture- and community-building programming, including networking events, team-building activities, and volunteer/giving-back initiatives.
- Manage Marketing’s Viva Engage community, developing an engaging content cadence and driving participation through timely posts and campaigns.
- Lead Culture Team operations, including member recruitment and onboarding, monthly meeting cadence and communications, and budget tracking to enable effective planning and execution.
Marketing Forum Management
- Support the planning and execution for key Marketing forums (All Hands, Global Marketing Summit, and Leadership Forum), including agenda development and stakeholder coordination.
This is an office based position located in San Diego, CA and is expected to comply with the company's onsite work policy. This is a U.S. based position and is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.OR
Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 5+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
OR
High school Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or equivalent area
- 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, program management, internal communications, or related field
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional programs and stakeholder relationships
- Experience with event planning, logistics coordination, or program delivery at scale
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience owning and scaling programs across content, culture, training, or employee engagement initiatives from strategy through execution.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in cross-functional and cross-regional environments, partnering with stakeholders across headquarters and field teams.
- Experience leading culture, community, or learning initiatives, including events, engagement programs, or professional development experiences.
- Track record of successfully managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities, exercising strong judgment in fast‑paced, evolving environments.
Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize insights into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences, including senior leaders.
- Strong expertise in building and managing internal content platforms across Microsoft 365 (e.g., SharePoint, intranets, resource hubs), including governance models, information architecture, and content strategy.
- Advanced program and project management capabilities, including experience using tools such as Workfront and Jira to structure work, align stakeholders, and deliver high-quality outcomes across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Proven ability to design and lead engaging events, forums, and learning experiences, including agenda development, speaker partnership, logistics, and executive-ready materials.
- Analytical and systems-oriented mindset, leveraging data and engagement metrics to assess effectiveness, inform decisions, and drive continuous improvement.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$133,500.00 - $200,300.00The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
