About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Events Manager to join our Marketing team. Reporting to the Head of Field and Partner Marketing, you’ll lead the planning and execution of corporate events, including workshops, conferences, and trade shows, to deliver impactful customer experiences that promotes Dragos as the leader in OT (Operational Technology) Cybersecurity. This role works closely with marketing and sales to align event strategies with business goals.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute corporate events from start to finish, including managing registration and promotion of external events.
- Build relationships and coordinate with executive, marketing, sales and product stakeholders to understand their event needs.
- Manage event budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
- Oversee event logistics, including transportation and accommodation when applicable.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, security regulations.
- Provide on-site management and support during events.
- Evaluate event success and provide feedback for improvement.
Qualifications
- 5+ years managing events within a corporate environment.
- 2-5+ years of event campaign management experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing a variety of events, from small workshops to large conferences.
- Proven ability to work with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver successful events.
- Experience in budget management and cost control.
- Strong track record of negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.
- Familiarity with event management software and marketing tools such as Swoogo, Hubspot, Salesforce, Trello
- Ability to multitask between projects and prioritize initiatives, while maintaining workload cross-functionally with internal teams and external partner counterparts simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with good interpersonal skills and ability to develop and foster peer-to-peer relationships with partner counterparts and internal team members.
- Experience in software, or cybersecurity and specifically operational technology cybersecurity is a plus.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $130,000
