  • Define and prioritize product roadmap items in collaboration with cross-functional teams, focusing on high-impact features that improve maternal health outcomes.
  • Drive technical feasibility discussions with engineering, data science, and design teams to ensure solutions are achievable, scalable, and aligned with the product vision.
  • Empower associate level team members to engage with healthcare professionals, clients, and end-users to gather feedback, validate product hypotheses, and identify potential areas for improvement or innovation.
  • Oversee product lifecycle stages from concept, MVP, and pilot to scaling, ensuring each phase meets quality and technical benchmarks.
  • Lead sprint planning and backlog management with Agile methodologies, focusing on delivering iterative product improvements and maximizing team productivity.
  • Perform competitive analysis and market research to keep the product aligned with trends and to identify new opportunities within the maternal health landscape.
  • Analyze and interpret product analytics to assess feature performance, guide data-driven decision-making, and optimize user experience.
  • Prepare clear and detailed documentation (e.g., user stories, specifications, wireframes) to support product development and ensure alignment across teams.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders in marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure cohesive messaging, smooth onboarding, and support for new features.
  • Mentor and support junior product managers or team members, sharing best practices and helping them grow in product management and technical skills.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in technical product management, ideally with experience in health technology, telemedicine, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing full product lifecycle from ideation through to launch and scaling, with a strong ability to execute in fast-paced environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Public Health) or equivalent experience. Advanced degree (MBA, MPH) is a plus.
  • Strong technical acumen and experience working closely with software engineering teams, with the ability to understand and discuss architectural and infrastructure considerations.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release management, and familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and experience with product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Google Analytics) to measure performance and inform data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards in health technology (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and experience building products that prioritize privacy and security.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across technical and non-technical teams and present to senior leadership.
  • Empathy and user-centric mindset, with a passion for improving maternal health outcomes and a deep understanding of the unique needs of this audience.
  • Experience conducting user research or working closely with UX teams to develop features that address specific user pain points.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring and managing associate or junior product managers, providing guidance on best practices, prioritization, and professional growth.
  • Ability to oversee and delegate tasks effectively, ensuring associate product managers are aligned with project goals and understand their contributions to larger product initiatives.
  • Track record of fostering a collaborative team environment and supporting junior team members in developing core product management skills.
  • Experience conducting regular one-on-one meetings with junior product managers to offer constructive feedback, performance evaluations, and career development support.
