uyana is looking for a Full-Time Warehouse Outbound Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Fulfillment Center located in West Oakland. This is a hands-on role working on-site with team members and participating in processes.

The Fulfillment Supervisor will be operationally savvy, and metrics-driven while having a passion for growing and developing teams. This person will support the Management team daily.

Must be available Monday- Friday 6:30am-3:30pm *Available work weekends and extended hours during peak season Oct- Dec*

RESPONSIBILITIES*:

• Assist with daily workflow operations oversight
• Supervise checking and unloading of outbound shipments, orderly stacking of product, incoming QC, and inventory accuracy
• Ensures quality inspections are completed in compliance with vendor profile. Tracks labor costs and materials need for on-site and off-site repairs. Regularly meets with the Production Team to review vendor quality.
• Overseeing the accuracy of inventory, ensuring daily cycle counts are completed and reconciled with the proper research.
• Manage warehouse space capacity and interface with outside storage as needed.
• Identify new ways to increase efficiency and eliminate waste
• Strong cross-functional partner, can easily articulate upstream/downstream impacts and advise optimal solutions
• Provides a safe and clean environment for warehouse personnel
• Play an active role in employee onboarding, development, morale, and retention
• Lead ad hoc projects as necessary, e.g. racking installation, SOP documentation, inventory re-slotting, cross-training, etc.

Requirements:

• 1-3+ years of monitoring/overseeing a department, personnel, and/or process
• 3 to 5 years of People Management Experience
• Experience in a warehouse/retail/ start-up environment
• Proficiency in WMS and ERP Systems (NetSuite and RF Smart are a plus!)
• Familiarity with a fulfillment center and hands-on production environment
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
• Can bend, reach, lift, and move stock and product; Able to carry up to 50lbs
• Able to stand for long periods at a time
• Comfortable climbing ladders

Compensation: $66,560-68,000 exempt, commensurate with experience.
