We’re on the hunt for an incredibly creative Content Marketing Manager to join our marketing team as the second hire. Why now? We’ve got our paid strategy down, but are looking to grow our organic presence to help bring in more leads and scale fast. 

Reporting to the Demand Generation Lead, you’ll have the chance to make a real impact from the start by owning and growing all of our organic social channels with the freedom to bring your awesome ideas to life. We’re looking for someone who’s always on top of the latest trends and can find innovative ways to connect with our target audience. If you love creating killer videos, witty social posts, engaging blogs, and have an eye for good design, your content will play a huge role in the next chapter of Conveyor’s growth.

What you’ll do:

  • Own content creation for organic social media accounts (LinkedIn, Youtube + others you identify) by posting x times/week
  • Create engaging videos for social and SEO
  • Grow social following through consistent content and engagement
  • Daily monitoring of social media accounts; represents voice of brand and responds to community engagement, elevates potential risks to team and responds in coordinated/timely manner.
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, changing algorithms, and emerging platforms to ensure that Conveyor’s social media presence remains innovative and effective.
  • Create and successfully deliver compelling content in a variety of mediums (including videos, webinars, social posts, blogs, case studies, benchmark reports)
  • Proactively identify and seize opportunities to continually make Conveyor’s content more modern, relevant, and actionable for our audiences
  • Proactively bring new ideas, and support the testing and execution of new content tactics
  • Hold up a high bar for the quality of writing and its visual expression in our deliverables, so that our content is ever more compelling and is a great experience to consume
  • Understand SEO best practices and tools and incorporate into content
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with rest of the team serving as a versatile editor who maintains quality and tone across multiple assets
  • Measure and report on performance of organic channels

What we’re looking for: 

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience creating digital content (for a SaaS company, a plus)
  • Demonstrated expertise in collaboratively conceptualizing and executing content
  • Demonstrated success growing any social media account + keeping an audience engaged
  • Demonstrated success creating short form social media videos with high engagement (show us your portfolio!)
  • A creative mindset with a passion for exploring new ideas and innovative approaches to content marketing
  • Stays updated with industry trends and emerging technologies. 
  • Possess exceptional copywriting abilities, showcasing a mastery of grammar and spelling
  • You are curious: always looking for an opportunity to learn, grow and give/receive feedback
  • A self-starter: when you see a need, you address it
  • Collaborator: you enjoy working with others and helping whenever possible

The base salary range estimate for this position is $90,000 - $125,000 plus equity. At Conveyor, we aim to pay in the 75th percentile of all companies of a similar size in the US.
