About the job
Contentsquare is looking for a Field Marketing Lead to join our team and play a key role in driving pipeline and customer engagement for the Japan market. This role focuses on leading, owning and implementing the marketing strategy in Japan to meet new business objectives, and be responsible for the strategy and execution of events and campaigns that engage, educate, and convert our audience. In this position, you will work collaboratively with our global marketing team members to deliver pipeline-generating marketing.
Key responsibilities:
- Adapt and implement the Japan marketing plan in line with global priorities with the objective of driving pipeline for the business.
- Work closely with the local sales, partnerships, and customer teams to align on strategy and deliver campaigns that exceed revenue targets
- Plan and manage engaging and impactful events (virtual, hybrid, and in-person) from start to finish. This includes overseeing all logistics, managing the budget, and collaborating with local teams to ensure maximise event impact and align with business objectives.
- Work with global content marketing team to help inform content strategy, develop campaign-specific messages and align demand generation programs with ongoing content initiatives
- Work with global paid media team to drive digital demand through organic and paid channels
- Partner with design, content, and video teams to produce promotional materials such as emails, landing pages, social posts, and videos.
- Be a visible member and leader within the Japan market, including creating thought leadership, and being active in the field with the sales team when appropriate
- Track, analyze, and report on the performance of all marketing activities and campaigns. You will monitor key KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and manage the regional marketing budget.
Who You Are:
- The ideal candidate has at least 5+ years experience in managing events and marketing campaigns in a B2B SaaS or tech environment in Japan.
- Fluent in Japanese and English, with strong communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong negotiation skills, interpersonal abilities, and confident interacting with senior personnel
- Strong business acumen and the ability to track ROI of events and campaigns
- Ability to work well in teams, particularly in collaboration with sales and creative departments.
A huge plus:
- Experience with Salesforce and Marketo (or equivalent marketing automation tool)
