Why we need you:

Our customers are the heartbeat of our business, and we’re looking for an ambitious and customer-obsessed SDR who thrives on collaborating with some of the most respected brands in the world like Figma, Atlassian, Hubspot and Notion.

You’ll play a critical role in shaping our prospect journey—focused on learning and driving pipeline into sales, along with creatively figuring out ways to drive qualified meetings to our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) at Common Room. In doing so, you’ll help drive revenue, not only for Common Room, but for our customers - which is the most important thing.

How you’ll contribute:

  • Set qualified meetings with Ideal Customer Profile companies for our AEs through multi-channel cold calls, emails, and social outreach
  • Engage with high-level executives through emails and phone calls to learn more about their needs and challenge the status quo of how Go-To-Market (GTM) is run
  • Collaborate closely with AEs to book meetings, multi-thread accounts and ensure a fantastic buying experience
  • Understand and learn how to utilize Common Room creatively in your day-to-day life as an SDR
  • We are selling one of the most powerful technologies in GTM at Common Room, and it’s imperative that you set the gold standard for how prospecting should be done (i.e. Dogfooding)
  • Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team to discover new and creative ways to attract prospective customers
  • Utilize solutions in our tech stack like Salesforce, Hubspot, Sales Navigator and Outreach to reach out to prospects
  • As somebody that will be using Common Room on a daily basis it is important that you build and maintain strong working relationships with Product to ensure prospect feedback gets back into product development
  • Set the quality-bar standard as an SDR at Common Room, and drive the results to hit our monthly numbers of qualified meetings booked and pipeline driven

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Minimum of 12 months of professional quota carrying B2B sales development experience
  • Experience researching and prospecting into organizations of 500+ employees
  • Has experience cold calling, qualifying inbound leads and handling objections with VP & C-Level executives
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
  • Strong work ethic with confidence to work autonomously
  • Self-motivated, driven, gritful, and proactive teammate with innovative ideas to inspire new ways of driving pipeline and positive change for Common Room
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy assisting in building processes from the ground up, and learning new ways to drive pipeline
  • Experience with Salesforce and Outreach is a plus!
  • Experience selling into Sales + Marketing is a plus +!
