About the role:

The Last Mile Production Manager will be responsible overseeing the final stages of vehicle production in our fast-paced and dynamic assembly-line. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to manage the efficient and timely delivery of vehicles from production to the final customer. You will play a crucial role in optimizing our processes to ensure seamless delivery and superior quality of our vehicles.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage End-to-End Last Mile Operations: Oversee the last-mile production process from the final assembly line to customer delivery, ensuring every vehicle meets the highest quality standards and is ready for customer handover
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a diverse team of production staff, ensuring effective collaboration, adherence to safety protocols, and optimal performance.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee and conduct final inspections and quality control assessments to ensure all vehicles are defect-free and meet company standards before delivery.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor key performance metrics (KPIs) related to last-mile production, including throughput, defect rates, and delivery timeframes, and report regularly to senior management for data-driven decision-making.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Lead troubleshooting efforts in addressing any last-minute production issues, whether related to parts, assembly, or logistical challenges, ensuring quick resolution without compromising quality or timelines.

We’re looking for:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in automotive industry
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive reconditioning or a related field.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and overtime as required.
  • Proven experience in managing a team in the automotive industry
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Team player and willing to jump in and lead by example.
