Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Chief of Staff to the Founder, who will play a pivotal role in driving our strategic initiatives across operations, product, engineering, business/data analytics, and special projects. This role requires a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a significant impact on the future of the automotive, finance, and logistics industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved. This includes special projects that require coordination with external stakeholders. Must be highly organized.
  • Strategic Planning: Assist in developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, product innovation, engineering excellence, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Business/Data Analytics: Oversee data analytics initiatives to derive actionable insights that drive product and operational improvements. Work closely with the engineering, design, and operations teams to establish key performance indicators and measure success. You will be expected to get your hands dirty here – ability to write SQL is a must.
  • Product/Growth Marketing: Work closely with the design, engineering, and growth teams to prioritize, launch, and market new features and products that align with the company's vision and customer needs.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in investment banking, consulting, growth, engineering, or other work experience that demonstrates you are an exceptional individual.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to query data and build dashboards as required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, with high adaptability to change. We push hard at Clutch, you need to be able to not just meet that bar, but help raise it.
  • Previous founding or entrepreneurship experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to leverage programming to accelerate velocity of problem solving (python, pandas, numpy, other simple scripts) is preferred.
