About the Role
- Support daily terminal and delivery operations in a fast-paced environment
- Serve as a key operations and coordination partner for drivers, dock supervisors, and internal teams
- Ensure smooth dock launches and high levels of on-time pickup and delivery performance
- Provide consistent, high-quality customer and driver support
- This role is onsite in Bloomington, CA and aligned to standard weekday business hours
What You’ll Do
- Provide high-level customer service and operational support
- Support drivers and serve as a primary point of contact during daily operations
- Coordinate with dock supervisors to ensure successful daily dock launches
- Lead and coordinate drivers to maintain on-time pickup and delivery performance
- Maintain accurate driver records, including times, routes, and special handling instructions
- Manage KPIs, open job reports, and daily POD reconciliation
- Oversee pickup dispatch management, including B2B and B2C assignments
- Support key customer accounts and provide ETAs as requested
- Manually build jobs when required and input rate adjustments
- Track and trace shipments to ensure service expectations are met
- Provide ad-hoc delivery and pickup coverage as needed
- Attend weekly operations meetings and support continuous improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in customer support and customer satisfaction
- Ability to think on your feet and problem-solve in real time
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools, systems, and processes
- Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and operate with a strong sense of urgency
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous dispatch, transportation, or logistics experience
- Bilingual in Spanish
