About Us: Bond Financial Technologies is a dynamic and innovative fintech company poised to launch groundbreaking financial products. We are seeking a results-driven Financial Crimes Compliance Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in building and enhancing our compliance program.
Key Responsibilities: As the Financial Crimes Compliance Manager at Bond, you will:
Understand and Optimize Systems:
- Gain a deep understanding of our systems and processes and identify areas for improvement
- Leverage your database experience (SQL) to analyze and enhance data collection and processing
- Build tools and processes to facilitate regulatory compliance and support customer operations
Manage KYC/KYB/AML Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day KYC/KYB/AML operations
- Collaborate on new product offerings to ensure appropriate controls are in place
- Automate KYC/KYB/AML functions to create flexible and scalable solutions
- Enhance existing policies and procedures and create new technical documentation
Enhance Fraud Mitigation Strategy:
- Drive Bond’s fraud mitigation strategy in collaboration with management
- Work with internal teams and external vendors to create fraud monitoring tools and establish fraud mitigation controls
Display Ownership and Leadership:
- Take ownership of the Financial Crimes Compliance function and drive its success
- Work with other company leaders on key initiatives
Be a Team Player:
- Work closely with a small, dedicated team to contribute to the company's rapid growth
- Be willing to take on new challenges in a dynamic environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in financial crimes compliance in the banking or fintech industry
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in SQL, Python, and related tools; experience with API-based products is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of compliance programs and drive them to success
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and bank partners
