Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, creative teams and customer support staff to manage content for career sites
  • Download/transfer content (images and text) from various sources including Word, Excel and/or design files (ex: Photoshop, Zeplin) into web pages
  • Editing existing web page content within career site platform using content management admin tools and WYSIWYG editors
  • Optimize images using online tools (such as TinyPNG) to reduce the file size of WEBP, JPEG and PNG files Upload assets (such as image, video) into career site platform based on asset library structure
  • Create new web pages using pre-built templates, components, and modules in accordance with clients’ brand standards
  • Conduct and/or assist with testing, including the use of automated tools
  • Publish tested and approved web content to production environments

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with web-related applications and programs
  • Experience utilizing a variety of office software, specifically: MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
  • Experience managing content with a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor
  • Basic understanding of cross browser/device requirements and testing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and independently solve problems, seeking help when necessary
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team to ensure project goals are met
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate well with technical staff
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems
  • Comfort working with distributed teams across multiple time zones

Bonus Skills

  • Familiarity with basic HTML and CSS
  • Understanding of SEO and meta data
  • Understanding of SEO, accessibility, and site performance best practices
  • Knowledge of technologies used in web publishing such as content management systems, HTML editors, browsers, newsreaders, blogs, and graphics manipulation software
  • Experience working with WordPress or similar Content Management Systems
  • Experience with or exposure to JIRA or similar workflow management tools
