We are seeking an entry level HR Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR administrative support across the entire employee life cycle. The ideal candidate will possess a background in HR functions, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for someone who has an awareness in labor law, a flair for people, experience in payroll would be a plus. You will need to be fluent in German and English.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare employment contracts for new hires, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Customize contracts as necessary based on individual employment terms.
  • Create side letters for specific employee agreements, amendments, or special arrangements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our core HR tool.
  • Organize the onboarding and offboarding process.
  • Assist in the coordination of various programs like corporate events or employee engagement events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience dealing with confidential and sensitive information required.
  • Working knowledge of HR practices and legalities to hiring in Austria is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task is essential, with a keen sense of priorities and sense of urgency.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German (both written and verbal).

The monthly basic minimum salary according to the collective agreement based on the Austrian law for this position is 2.396 Euro. This includes full health insurance, occupational accident insurance, public pension scheme, and public unemployment insurance. Depending on your professional qualifications and previous experience, your salary can be higher.
