About the Role:
Apartment List is looking for a technically savvy, detail-oriented, and proactive Implementation Specialist to join our Implementation team within Client Operations. This role is critical in ensuring that our partners are onboarded efficiently, and set up for long-term success. You will collaborate closely with the Go-To-Market and Data Operations teams to facilitate smooth product activations and integrations – leveraging technical tools and problem-solving skills to ensure a seamless experience from contract to activation.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the end-to-end client onboarding process, ensuring accurate and timely setup across various Apartment List products.
- Collaborate with the Go-To-Market team to address client needs, provide proactive updates, and resolve issues that impact listing accuracy and visibility, ensuring alignment and readiness for activation.
- Validate API connections, troubleshoot data discrepancies, and proactively identify, escalate, and resolve onboarding blockers such as incomplete integrations and system misconfigurations to prevent delays.
- Handle escalated or higher-complexity technical support cases from active (live) partners, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing partner impact.
- Ensure accurate and complete data entry in Salesforce and internal systems by documenting onboarding progress, integration details, and partnership information to maintain a clean database for reporting, performance tracking, and compliance.
- Support process improvements by identifying inefficiencies, providing feedback, and contributing to enhancements in our onboarding workflows.
- Deliver a seamless and positive partner experience by promptly addressing client needs and ensuring they are set up for success from day one.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in onboarding, client implementation, customer success, or technical account management, preferably in a B2B environment with exposure to integrations or API-driven products.
- A strong customer-centric mindset with a proactive approach to client communication and problem-solving.
- Excellent organizational skills and adaptability — able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize efficiently, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Comfortable shifting priorities and staying flexible as new information becomes available.
- Strong collaboration skills with experience working cross-functionally across GTM, Operations, and Technical teams.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and troubleshooting skills — able to evaluate problems from multiple angles, identify root causes, and resolve issues efficiently.
Here's the Pay Range:
At Apartment List, we carefully consider a variety of factors to determine compensation for each position, including the role, level, and work.
- Zone 1: $69,000 - $83,000 + equity
- Zone 2: $63,000 - $77,000 + equity
- Zone 3: $58,000 - $71,000 + equity
Please note, the compensation details reflect base salary + bonus only and do not include the benefits and perks that we offer.
We also rely on market indicators along with considering your work location, job related skills, experience and relevant education and training, to determine compensation that is fair and competitive for you. Apartment List will consider paying compensation near the higher of the range in exceptional circumstances, where candidates have the experience, credentials or expertise that would warrant such consideration.
