We are looking for a talented and adaptable Sourcer/Recruiter to join our growing Talent team. In this blended role, you’ll play a key part in identifying, attracting, and engaging top talent across multiple functions, including Sales, G&A, and Technical teams. You’ll be responsible for both full-cycle recruiting and proactive sourcing, ensuring we build a strong pipeline of high-quality candidates while delivering an exceptional hiring experience.

Here’s what you’ll do as part of the team:
- Sourcing & Engagement:
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage top talent across a variety of functions.
- Support the Lead Recruiter and Manager by building and maintaining robust pipelines of qualified candidates, by proactively engaging passive talent.
- Utilize sourcing tools, market insights, and creative outreach methods to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
- Full-Cycle Recruiting:
- Manage the end-to-end hiring process for roles across multiple teams, from initial outreach to offer negotiation.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to deeply understand hiring needs, define role requirements, and ensure a smooth, efficient hiring process.
- Provide an outstanding candidate experience, ensuring timely communication and a seamless interview process.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine hiring strategies and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Track and analyze key hiring metrics to optimize your sourcing and recruiting efforts.
- Use data to provide hiring managers with insights and recommendations for improving hiring outcomes.
- Stay up to date with market trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitor insights to keep Apartment List competitive in the talent market.
Here are the skills and experience you’ll need to be successful:
- 4+ years of experience in a recruiting and/or sourcing role, with a proven track record of successfully hiring across multiple functions.
- Strong sourcing skills with experience using an ATS (we use Gem), LinkedIn Recruiter, and other talent acquisition tools.
- Ability to build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage insights to improve recruitment strategies.
- A proactive, adaptable, and problem-solving approach to hiring challenges.
Here's the Pay Range:
At Apartment List, we carefully consider a variety of factors to determine compensation for each position, including the role, level, and work. The US base salary range for this position is:
- Zone 1: $86,000 - $119,000 TTC (up to 10% of the TCC may be a bonus) + equity
- Zone 2: $80,000 - $110,000 TTC (up to 10% of the TCC may be a bonus) + equity
- Zone 3: $74,000 - $104,000 TTC (up to 10% of the TCC may be a bonus) + equity
This reflects the compensation target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Please note, the compensation details provided do not include benefits and perks that we offer.
We also rely on market indicators along with considering your work location, job related skills, experience and relevant education and training, to determine compensation that is fair and competitive for you. Apartment List will consider paying compensation near the higher of the range in exceptional circumstances, where candidates have the experience, credentials or expertise that would warrant such consideration. It is always our goal to hire exceptional talent and we would be happy to share more about compensation during the hiring process.
