About the role

Design is at the heart of Blaze's value proposition to users. As our key visual designer on the product team, you'll own the look and feel of our product.

You'll be responsible for shepherding this vision through features from ideation to launch.

You'll work with our customers to prototype ideas and get their feedback about what's working and what's not in our current experience.

You'll sweat the details of every aspect of our product so we set the standard in our space.

And you'll help us build out the culture of a humble, smart, collaborative design team that becomes our secret weapon and the envy of our competitors.

What you'll do:

• Own major visual components of the product, like our UI design system along with feature sets like templates for our Designer.

• Engage with users to assess the current simplicity, ease, and vibe of our platform, and propose new ways to create the most consumer-friendly tool on the market.

• Work cross-functionallywith product partners to represent our design values, solicit feedback, facilitate design discussions, and ensure quality.

• Collaborate with engineers to ensure high-quality handoffs, implementation, and final user experience that exceeds expectations and delights users.

• Lead by example—do phenomenal work and help people on the team learn how you do it through mentorship and coaching.
