Alkymi is searching for a Director of Communications that is passionate about cutting-edge AI and large language models in the financial services vertical. You will play a critical role in accelerating awareness and driving key narratives in the private capital markets and wealth management space.
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this highly visible role will be responsible for developing and driving the content of external communications and channels, as well as related internal communications. You will have proven success in the financial services industry as a master storyteller, building compelling narratives for trade publications, speaking engagements, social media and owned media. Working closely with executive leadership, you will be responsible for sharing Alkymi’s expertise and value add for private capital markets and wealth management.
What You Will Do And Achieve
- Drive our external communications strategy for product and corporate public relations, including building relationships with media, analysts, and influencers across trade, tech, and broader business outlets.
- Optimize and advance the strategy and voice for CEO, CTO and CDS and other executive communications, including speaking engagements, media interviews, and internal communications
- Seek out award opportunities and develop creative ways to position Alkymi as a thought leader and subject matter expert.
- Manage and track corporate social media handles and website blog/news
- Leverage both earned and owned channels to ensure that Alkymi is valued appropriately in the eyes of customers, partners, employees, investors, the media, and influencers as an industry leader
- Partner closely with Product Marketing and company executives to support Analyst Relations strategy and execution.Help identify trending topics, determine key awareness channels, and experiment with campaign messaging.
- Drive internal communications strategy, including employee communications and executive communications, by partnering with senior management to build, refine, and anticipate needs for internal company messaging.
Who You Are
- 8+ years in communications and PR with experience managing teams and agencies responsible for communications, PR, analyst relationship, and/or brand preferably in the financial services space
- Stellar written and verbal communication, with experience simplifying concepts and influencing stakeholders, and impeccable attention to detail
- A get-it-done attitude with ability to roll up your sleeves while driving strategy
- A proven track record in understanding ROI, reporting and analytics, and success metrics for PR
- Experience working closely with software development processes, familiarity with developer teams, and/or experience with a technical B2B SaaS product
- Ability to balance and prioritize competing opportunities, customer needs, and business priorities
- Have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in journalism, marketing and/or communications

Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000 annually + Equity + Fully Paid Company benefits + 401k + Unlimited PTO
