Description

We are looking for an IFRS and Reporting manager to expand our Finance team. Reporting to the Head of Finance and Controlling, you will be a key contributor in building a dynamic accounting and finance organization dedicated to financial integrity and focused on supporting our growth strategy.

In this role, you will be the technical reference point for IFRS across the organisation, own the consolidation process, and ensure the timely and accurate delivery of statutory and management reporting. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, external auditors, Head of Accounting and the wider finance team, and play a key role in continuously improving the quality, efficiency, and transparency of our financial reporting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of consolidated financial statements under IFRS, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.
  • Act as the in-house IFRS expert: monitor new and amended standards, assess their impact, and implement required changes across the group.
  • Draft and review accounting position papers on complex or non-routine transactions (Leases, financial instruments, share-based payments, R&D, impairment, etc.).
  • Manage the group consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translation
  • Co-coordinate the year-end audit: act as the main point of contact for external auditors for IFRS topics and ensure timely delivery of audit deliverables.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve group accounting policies, manuals, and reporting templates.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives in the close, consolidation, and reporting cycles.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience, ideally combining a Big Four / audit background with an in-house reporting role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and BEGAAP.
  • Proven experience with consolidation tools, listed company reporting requirements and SAP 4/HANA
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to translate complex accounting matters into clear conclusions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with senior management and auditors.
  • Hands-on, pragmatic, and deadline-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
