Position Overview:
The Inventory and Logistics Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient movement and management of inventory materials across facilities. This role involves regular shuttle runs, detailed inventory tracking, receiving processes, warehousing, and supporting internal functions as needed.

What you'll be doing:

  • Maintain organized inventory storage areas, ensuring items are properly labeled and stored.
  • Track check-outs and returns of inventory items, updating bin quantities and maintaining a real-time inventory tracker.
  • Conduct regular spot counts and assist with monthly inventory audits to ensure accuracy and accountability.
  • Receive and process incoming shipments, verifying accuracy and condition upon arrival.
  • Fulfill work orders / kitting for production builds and customer shipments.
  • Process (including documentation) international shipments using DHL, FedEx, UPS, etc. and tracking shipments to destination within the desired timeline.
  • Perform scheduled shuttle trips between Aeva designated locations.
  • Support full physical inventory counts and reconciliation processes (including scrap).
  • Serve as backup support, taking on team responsibilities during absences or high-demand periods.
  • Track FA (Failure Analysis) inventory and reconcile records in collaboration with the Quality team.

What you have:

  • Previous experience in inventory or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Valid CA driver’s license. No accidents within the past 2 years. Commercial license preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
  • Intermediate Microsoft skills, (Excel in particular) and familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
