Role Overview:

We are looking for a software engineer with a focus on developing signal processing algorithms in production as well as simulation platforms.

What you'll do:

Design and develop signal processing, detection, and optimization algorithms in C++ in production software and simulation platforms
Translate floating-point models to fixed-point for optimal implementation on ARM processors and FPGAs
Be involved in all stages of algorithm development including data collection, analysis, development, and test
Participate in the team's development processes, including requirements and design documentation, test-plan generation and execution, peer design and code reviews, process feedback, and improvements

What you have:

Master's degree with 2+ years of industry experience working on software development for signal processing applications or a Ph.D. with a focus on signal processing or communication systems
3+ years of experience in developing C/C++ applications with a focus on algorithm design
Good fundamentals in signal processing, probability theory, mathematics, and excellent problem-solving skills
Experience with quantitative data analysis and simulation software (Matlab preferred)
Willingness to learn, ability to communicate well, and demonstrate healthy drive and energy to understand and solve complex system-level problems

Nice to have:

Experience working on simulation platforms to model hardware systems
Worked on fixed-point algorithm implementation on low-end processors
Knowledge of advanced signal processing algorithms for radar/lidar/communication systems
Experience working on point cloud processing and filtering
