Role Overview:
As Sr. Global Supply Manager, you will be responsible for developing Contract Manufacturing engagement strategies and providing commercial support to develop / coordinate with CMs during the development through to production, as well as overall cost management including Capex.
What you'll do:
- Develop engagement strategies to ensure Contract Manufacturers are capable of meeting Aeva's current and future technical and business requirements for Aeva’s products, system manufacturing processes and Final Assembly, Test and Pack (FATP)
- Manage overall system costs structures and FATP Capex requirements
- Manage commercial discussions and strategic deal terms including IP rights
What you have:
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering related field or equivalent experience
- deep technical understanding of CM management for major production equipment/fixtures including demonstrated experience working cross-functionally to influence decisions and get alignment on technical documents such as RFIs, ERS’ and SOWs
- Demonstrated expertise in cost structures and should-cost analysis, as well as FATP Capex management
- Established executive network with contract manufacturers and FATP equipment suppliers
- Extensive experience negotiating complex IP and supply agreements with global CM’s and equipment suppliers
- 5 years of global CM management experience
Nice to have:
- Thirst for knowledge and the ability to learn quickly with a strong interest in technology and/or operations
- Postgraduate degree in a Business or Engineering related field
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 20% based on business needs
